beadsTonight for Fat Tuesday Papa Mojo’s Roadhouse is having their 2nd Annual Mardi Gras celebration from 5:30-9:30pm.

They serve creole cajun cuisine year-round so it’s only fitting for them to have the largest party in town for the occasion. There will be a mask contest, beads and plenty of authentic bayou food. Cover is just $5.

I think it will be the place to really indulge before Lent. Hope you have a great time if you make it out! Happy Fat Tuesday!

Winter Storm Blast

A weather advisory has been posted for all of the Triangle area and for most of North Carolina. A large winter storm is moving through Friday evening. Snow, sleet and ice is expected.

We are advising residents to please be cautious on the upper level of the parking deck.

How do you plan on spending the weekend? Is anyone sledding? I would personally love to cozy-up with a cup of hot chocolate and maybe make a snowman with my daughter. We’ll have to see how much snow actually accumulates and if the weather will lighten-up enough for us to play outside.

For the latest info, check here. Have a great and safe weekend!
