GMC and Dude Perfect Are Taking Shots For The Goal
Posted on June 22, 2010 · Leave a Comment
I was catching up on the morning news on this beautiful Tuesday morning. ABC News Online has all the goods and the best part about watching the news on the Internet is that I get to select my information. I don’t have to be bombarded with the negatives, I normally just highlight the good and what I think is important news. But I ran into something that has just filled me with so much joy.
GMC has teamed up with the Dude Perfect crew and they are making some extreme shots. Basket ball is my favorite sport and I have never seen any shots like these.
Dude… Perfect! — These six college students were blessed to be able to have the opportunity to take part in an ad-campaign for the NBA playoffs sponsored by GMC Sierra Trucks. That’s what they told me when I went over to the Dude Perfect blog. I even watched more of their video’s. I must say that after spending some time watching these video’s I really felt light, joyful and ready to take on the world. It’s something about making great jump shots from seemingly impossible places that raises your self confidence.

$100 Million Hedge Fund? Well, meet Maxime Carmignac. Her Dad Edouard just placed her in charge of this $100 Million Dollar Hedge Fund. Graham Hawkes Builds Neckor Nymph Submarine For Billionaire Sir Richard Branson
Posted on June 16, 2010 · Leave a CommentThe Neckor Nymph Submarine
This is simply a blog post about ability and imagination. This is not an article about money, I just want to make that clear.
Forbes Video Network has a playlist about billionaire activity. I was surfing through the Forbes site looking in the direction that I am heading (Billionaire status that is) and I began to imagine the possibilities. Billionaire Sir Richard Branson just added this very sleek looking submarine called the Necker Nymph to his collection. This is like an underwater plane. It took engineer and inventor Graham Hawkes, all of six months to build this fascinating machine.
Our earth is 70% water, and there is so much that we have yet to explore; so much that we have yet to imagine. Money was used to build this submarine yet without the idea it would have never existed. I enjoy having money and I now understand that by producing value I can pave a path of easy access whereby capital can find its way to me.
There are so many possibilities that are still available to be explored and our ability to use our imagination has no ends. It’s not the technology or computers that enhance or future either, it is ‘We.’ Humans are the minds and hands behind the technology. As long as we have the ability to use our imagination, I believe that we can focus it and create whatever we want, including billions of dollars.
This Necker Nymph Submarine would be a great way for me to start my submarine collection. Maybe I’ll Give Graham a call or shoot him an email ^_^.
Let us know what you think about this Neckor Sub. Comments Please…

The Secret Behind Time Management
Posted on June 11, 2010 · Leave a CommentHave you ever thought that maybe there is a better way to manage your time?
After looking at this video on time management from Chet Holmes I believe that there is. I’m not talking about a great new program or activity that excites you for about a day or two but then it stops. There really isn’t a secret at all. In fact, I hope this blog post can illustrate a new picture of time management for you.
The reality is that you can manage time. It is impossible! Everyone has 24 hours in a day and there is nothing that you can do to change that. Wikipedia tell us that time management is a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals.
What do you do after getting organized, setting goals, setting your priorities based on those goals or learning in every trick in the book
These principles won’t do anything for you if you don’t practice self discipline daily.
It is the YOU that needs to be managed. Now don’t think that I am preaching at you only, I am talking to myself as well. I haven’t gotten it all together yet. But the greatest prerequisite for self management is self awareness.
Keep that in mind as you look at these three very powerful time management tips.
- Have a vision
- Based on the vision, set priorities
- Based on the priorities, throw away all activities which do not fit

How Eco-Driving Can Help Your Wallet
Posted on June 9, 2010 · Leave a CommentThe way we drive has a great impact on our fuel efficiency and the environment. The gap between an eco friendly driver and other drivers is about 35%. But we can cut down on this by the way we opporate our vehicles.

Every 5 mph the you go over 65 mph your fuel efficiency drops by 10%. It’s the equivalent of paying an extra 20% for gas.
Go easy on the pedal:
Jackrabbit start-offs save just seconds off of every couple off minutes but the consumption of fuel is over 30%.
Car pool for efficiency:
You might live close to someone that you work with. There are days when you can switch as the driver. Let your car rest and be the passenger a couple days out of the week then switch roles.

Before Involving Others On Making Decisions You Should Know 3 Things
Posted on June 2, 2010 · Leave a CommentWhat is the first thing that we do when in the face of a huge situation or when we are planning? Most of the time we go to a friend. The first thing that we should do is to just sit quietly. Listen, you might see the circumstance from a different perspective. How we see a situation will determine the moves that we’ll make. Advice is a good thing. I remember a time when I was to stubborn to even ask for help but when I finally did, OMG! I was grateful. With that being said here are 3 things that you should know before involving others on making a decision.

- Is It Validation or Advice that I am Looking for?
We can easily just be looking for someone to pat us on the back and say “yes, what you are doing is correct, keep doing it.” It may be the right time but wrong option or wrong application to the right time. The big thing here is to locate yourself. If you are looking for someone else to validate your emotions even though what you feel down in your gut is telling you otherwise then don’t lie to yourself about that. Just know that it may not turn out how you want it to.
- Can I handle the Truth, Even When it Hurts?
Seeking advice without an open mind is like mining for gold while blindfolded: even if you came across a “golden nugget,” you would never even realize it? The truth hurts. The person may advise you to do something you really don’t want to do. They may tell you that your brilliant idea has a huge flaw. This is where humility and prudence comes into play. Faithful are the wounds of a friend and it is a wise man who receives instruction. If you can stand hearing the words “You’re Wrong” then you are definitely in position to prosper. But If you are not willing to be corrected save yourself the time and energy and don’t even ask for advice.
- Am I being Emotional or Logical?
Sometimes our emotions can try to become louder than the right way. Ultimately you are in control of your own life. I am not telling you to ignore any ones advice. You don’t have to take every word that everyone tells you. Heck, I’ve turned down plenty of advice before and turned out on top. But you must realize why you are not going to take advantage of the advice. Is it because you heard something that you didn’t want to hear in the first place and it makes you feel uncomfortable? Or because you have thoroughly thought the situation through and you realize that faith is required.
Next time you are face with a big decision or you are formulating a plan of action just think back to these three steps. Make sure that your decision is thought out thoroughly. Am I being logical or emotional? Can I handle the Truth, Even When it Hurts? Is It Validation or Advice that I am Looking for? These questions can save you big time in the end.
I hope that this information has been beneficial. Share our blog post with your friends. Thank you. Be sure to follow us on Twitter as well.
