Alice and Wonderland Take Two

Who else is excited to see Tim’s Burton’s new movie Alice and Wonderland this upcoming weekend? I’ve been waiting for months! Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and newcomer Mia Wasikowska, plays teenage Alice in this revamped story from the 1951 Disney animation.

As a little girl I loved the story. The magical fantasies and wonderful lessons in a colorful world with talking flowers made for TV delight that I watched over and over again. Something tells me this new Disney version will be more mystifying. I think I’ll wait a few years to show this one to my 2 year-old. It will be a movie I’ll adore on my own.
