For The Furry Friends We Love So Much

Dog lovers, cat lover, for all of our furry friend lovers here at Arboretum Apartments,
We know you can’t adopt every animal that needs a home. You might have the compassion for it but there are lots of other things that you could do to help. Your local animal shelter is always looking for support and here is how:
1) Do you have any old blankets? Donate them. You can gather up all of your old towels or bedding and take them to the animal shelter. They can use them for baths and bedding for the animals while they wait for their forever homes.
2) Donations via gifts. Do you have an anniversary or birthday coming up? Rather than accepting gifts, you could ask that people write checks made out the local ASPCA or shelter in your area. Their is a tax-deductible on most donations plus, the karma points you receive are way better than any cheep neck tie, boxed DVD series or candle.
3) While you socialize start a donation drive. When you go out to hang with your friends or when they com over to the apartments let them know about what you are doing for the animals in neighborhood. You don’t have to be a pest just ask if they’d like to contribute with your purpose. Ensure them that you will do it with their participation or not. This will give them confidence of your successful venture.
Ask around the office, your church or the here at the property for donations. Every donation doesn’t have to be money. Often times people have food that their pets can’t or won’t eat, toys they don’t play with, crates they’ve outgrown and collars that no longer fit. All of these things can be donated to the local animal shelter.
Preston Animal Hospital is only minutes away and you can get started today.
Hopefully this message has met you in the right time. Share us with your friends.

Wouldn’t it be great as a Dad to gift your son or daughter with a million dollar trust fund or company, how about a
$100 Million Hedge Fund? Well, meet Maxime Carmignac. Her Dad Edouard just placed her in charge of this $100 Million Dollar Hedge Fund. Apparently she was going from job to job and trying to find her purpose and her way. Now that’s not to say that she was dingy or unintelligent. Maxime is very smart and know how to handle business. But this is still a test. If she manages the fund well she should be a shoo-in to handle her father’s business from here on out. Read More…
The Secret Behind Time Management

Have you ever thought that maybe there is a better way to manage your time?
After looking at this video on time management from Chet Holmes I believe that there is. I’m not talking about a great new program or activity that excites you for about a day or two but then it stops. There really isn’t a secret at all. In fact, I hope this blog post can illustrate a new picture of time management for you.
The reality is that you can manage time. It is impossible! Everyone has 24 hours in a day and there is nothing that you can do to change that. Wikipedia tell us that time management is a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals.
What do you do after getting organized, setting goals, setting your priorities based on those goals or learning in every trick in the book
These principles won’t do anything for you if you don’t practice self discipline daily.
It is the YOU that needs to be managed. Now don’t think that I am preaching at you only, I am talking to myself as well. I haven’t gotten it all together yet. But the greatest prerequisite for self management is self awareness.
Keep that in mind as you look at these three very powerful time management tips.
- Have a vision
- Based on the vision, set priorities
- Based on the priorities, throw away all activities which do not fit

Panthers Have a New QB

The Carolina Panthers may not have had a first round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, but that didn’t stop them from selecting one of the best quarterbacks coming from this year’s recruiting class.
Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen was chosen on Friday in the second round as the 48th overall pick by the Panthers and I couldn’t be happier. It was stunning that Clausen wasn’t picked in the first round, especially since Tebow was selected as the 25th overall pick by Denver. Even more impressive is that he was still available for the second round pick. I was biting my nails as each team picked, hoping that he would still be available.
A young quarterback is exactly what the Panthers need, especially since they’ve lost Delhomme this off season. He’ll definitely compete against Moore for the starting QB spot.
Do you think Clausen will do well in Charlotte?
